Karen Lynn Thomas

Karen Lynn (Flowers) Thomas, a beloved wife, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and precious friend, went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2024, at her home in Point Pleasant, WV.

She was born on August 12, 1949, a daughter of the late Harry “Mopey” Flowers and Annagene (Casey) Flowers.

Karen was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School class of 1967 and retired after working for American Greetings and manager at Full’s Hallmark.

Karen attended Heights United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant, WV.

Karen is survived by Paul David Thomas, her loving husband of 56 years; her son, Jason (Mary) Thomas of Point Pleasant, WV, and her daughter, Gabrielle “Gabby” Rhodes of Buckhannon, WV. Karen is also survived by her two grandchildren, Katelynn and Kelsey Rhodes both of Buckhannon, West Virginia.

Additionally, Karen is survived by two sisters, Cindy (Chuck) Farrington of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Roberta (Gerard) Clyne of Staten Island, NY, nieces, Jodie (Brian) Craft and Briana Clyne; nephews, Timothy (Sheryl) Clyne, Kevin Zerkle, and Patrick Clyne; and great nephew, Jordan Craft.

A funeral service will be held at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV on Sunday, the 14th of July 2024 at 2:00pm with Rev. Charles Marker officiating. Burial will follow at New Lone Oak Cemetery in Point Pleasant. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00pm-2:00pm.
