Justin Wayne Fowler

Justin W. Fowler, 59, of Point Pleasant died Friday, November 6, 2009 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School with Class of 1970, a member of the United Mine Workers, and had worked as a miner for 28 years at the Meigs Mine No. 31. Justin was born December 11, 1949 in Point Pleasant, son of the late Briciel D. Smith and Helen Leona (Fowler) Smith. Surviving are his wife, Sheila (Thomas) Fowler of Point Pleasant; one daughter, Bridget Ann Fowler and fiance Joe Roy of Lavalette, WV; best friend, Clinton Maynard of Huntington; two brothers, Ricky D. (Gayla) Smith and Bryan (Stacy) Smith of Point Pleasant; a special cousin, Brenda Roberts of Lodi, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Warner officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.
