June Emma Mallette

June Emma Mallette, 97, of Point Pleasant, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center in Point Pleasant.

She was born August 24, 1926, in Malta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Albert Samuel Bragg and Mary Alwilda (Demster) Bragg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Mallette; a son, Charles P. "Charlie" Mallette; and two brothers, Frank and Putnam Bragg.

June was a homemaker and a faithful active member of Heights United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant.

She is survived by sons, Robert Stephen (Mary) Mallette of Letart and William "Bill" (Jackie) Mallette of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Michele VanMatre, Megan Heartfielder, Heather Mallette, T.R. Mallette and Ryan Mallette; 12 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, with Billy Painter officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
