Judith Allyn Rymer

Judith Allyn Rymer, 74, of Leon, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston. She was born October 11, 1947, in Gallipolis, OH, a daughter of the late George E. Cottrill and Vada I. (Greenlee) Cottrill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger C. Rymer II; and a sister, Carolyn Sue Enos. Judy was a member of the Leon Baptist Church and had retired from Pleasant Valley Hospital with 25 years service. She is survived by a daughter, Melissa B. (Dustin) Beaver of Hurricane, WV; a son, Patrick G. Rymer of Leon; grandchildren, Marissa Rymer, Raelee Rymer, Emily Beaver and Livia Rymer; two sisters, Patricia Durst of Springfield, LA and Gene Ann Peoples of Southside; and two sisters-in-law, Katherine Garrett and H. Dee Rymer both of Ravenswood, WV. A graveside service and burial will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Leon Cemetery with Pastor Adam Null officiating.Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
