Judith Ann Riffle

Judith Ann Riffle, 77, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, while at Pleasant Valley Hospital.

She was born October 25, 1945, in Swedesboro, NJ, a daughter of the late James and Jean Harbeson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Dover Riffle; brothers, Larry, Richard, Clifford and Gilbert Harbeson; and sister, Kathy Harbeson.

Judith was a graduate of Paulsboro High School, Class of 1964. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, homemaker, business owner and most of all a caring and loving person. In her retirement years she enjoyed being outside in the sun, playing bingo, doing word search puzzles and putting jigsaw puzzles together. She always looked forward to the holidays and seeing and hearing from her family. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children, daughter, Wendy (Frank) Camiolo of Williamstown, NJ; sons, John (Stacy) Sockwell of Lexington, KY and Wayne (Tabitha) Sockwell of Point Pleasant; sister, Beatrice (Albert) Ellis of New Jersey; and her loving grandchildren, Stephen (Molly) Sachs, Rachel (Steven) Wheeler, Jonathan Sockwell, Scott Sockwell, Amanda (Alex) Marr, Brenna Ferguson, Nicholas Ferguson and Dakota Sockwell. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.  Private burial will be held.
