Juanita Bell Wamsley

Juanita Bell Wamsley 81, of Middleport, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007 at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. Juanita was a homemaker and member of the College Hill Church in Gallipolis Ferry, and attended the Rutland Church of God in Rutland, Ohio. She was born September 19, 1925 in Southside, WV a daughter of the late Darius and Nellie (Wood) Wetherholt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Granvel (Jack) Wamsley, and son, Jackie A. Wamsley. Survivors include daughters, Dixie (Charles) Leonard; Margie (John) Skidmore; sons, Roger and Samuel Wamsley all of Middleport, Ohio; sisters, Anna Lee Meadows of Columbus, Ohio; and Mary Gail (Douglas) Bugg of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; and brother-in-law, Richard Daylong of West Jefferson, Ohio; grandchildren, Joy (Matt) Church of Powell, Ohio; Tim (Diane) Wamsley, Cory, Tyler and Allan Wamsley all of Middleport, Ohio; five great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2007 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Pastor Ronald Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Henderson, WV. Visitation will be Sunday, February 4, 2007 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
