Juanita Pearl Jeffers

Juanita Pearl (Oliver) Jeffers, 80, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away at Pleasant Valley Hospital on Sunday, July 20, 2008. She was born on April 3, 1928, in Letart, WV, to the late Hawlie Leonard Oliver and May Belle (Wheatcraft) Oliver. She was a homemaker and a member of the Berean Baptist Church of Point Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester H. Jeffers; one infant son, Allen Jeffers; one infant daughter, Eva May Jeffers; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Willard Eldridge and Kristeen and George Schwartz both of Point Pleasant; two sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Phillis Jeffers of Moorefield, WV, and Paul and Donna Jeffers of Petersburg, WV; four grandchildren, Howard and Kathy Schwartz, Betty and Mike Hively, Mary and James Hodge all of Point Pleasant and James Wesley Jeffers of Petersburg, WV; three great grandchildren, Austin Hodge, Haileigh Hodge and Brianna Buffington; four step-grandchildren, Georgetta Wallace, Carolyn and Kevin Hudnall, Pauline Jeffers, and David and Stacy Schwartz all of Point Pleasant; 8 step great-grandchildren, and 13 step-great-great grandchildren. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Rev. Isaiah Crump officiating. Burial will follow in the Hambrick Cemetery, in Southside, WV.
