Joseph Harold Forbes

Joseph Harold Forbes, 86, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at home. He was born August 16, 1936, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Joseph Wesley Forbes and Opal Pauline (Love) Forbes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Joe attended Northbend Church in Mason, WV. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1956, a member of the United Steelworkers Local 5664 of Ravenswood and retired from Kaiser/Century Aluminum with 41 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Beverly June (Newberry) Forbes of Point Pleasant; children, Joseph Harold Jr. (Karla Sue) Forbes of Point Pleasant, Dreama June Forbes of Point Pleasant and Gregory Alan (Rhonda Craig) Forbes of Point Pleasant; five grandchildren, Bradley Alan (Chanda) Forbes, Jeffrey Adam Ball, Whitney Elizabeth Forbes, Kara Suzann Forbes and Kenneth Joshua (Kimberly) Wroten; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Forest Hills Cemetery in Letart. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
