John Travis Roush

John Travis Roush 24, of Point Pleasant died Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV from injuries received in an ATV accident. He was born October 14, 1981 in Point Pleasant, WV to Barbara A. (Barnette) Roush and the late Donald Eli Roush Sr. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather; Willard Barnette, and Paternal Grandparents; Opal Roush and John Clonch. John was a 2001 graduate of Point Pleasant High School, a member of the Moose Lodge, and a seven year member of the Flatrock Volunteer Fire Department. He loved the fire department, his truck, and four wheeling. He is survived by his mother; Barbara A. Roush of Point Pleasant, sister and brother-in-law; Mariessa Kelly Donohue and Shawn Donohue of Point Pleasant, brothers and sister-in-law; Donald E. Roush, Jr. and Anita Roush of Point Pleasant, WV, and Timothy L. Roush of Point Pleasant, Maternal Grandmother; Myrtle Barnette of Point Pleasant. Additional survivors are nephews and nieces; Dustin Taylor of Point Pleasant, Heather Nicole Roush of Trinity, NC, Tiffany Rae Roush of Point Pleasant, and Peyton Elissa-Ann Donohue of Point Pleasant, special cousins; Mark and Erick Roush of Point Pleasant, special friend Duane Durst of Point Pleasant, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2006 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Birchfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Henderson, WV.
