John W. Morrow

John W. Morrow, 61, of Summersville, WV, formerly of Point Pleasant passed away Thursday evening, April 29, 2010 at CAMC General in Charleston, WV. He was born August 5, 1948 in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Frank E. Morrow and Ruby E. (Knapp) Morrow. John was a former employee of City Ice and Fuel fuel-dock and had owned the Morrow's Deli in Point Pleasant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Earnest F. Morrow and a sister-in-law, Kimberly Morrow. Surviving are his wife, Devonna Morrow of Summersville; daughters, Ketrina (Sheldon) Gerlach of New Haven, and Kathy (J.L.) Perry of Point Pleasant; one son, John (Jenny) Morrow II of Alliance, Ohio; step-children, Shannon Auxier, Jennifer Porter, and Joe Russell. Also surviving are two sisters, Joyce (Jim) Keefer of Akron, Ohio and Sharon (Tommy) Huddleston of Gallipolis Ferry; three brothers, James Morrow of Point Pleasant, Daniel (Shirley) Morrow of Point Pleasant, and Mark (Darla) Morrow of Butler, KY; eight grandchildren, Brittany Rimmey, Shelby Gerlach, Hannah Perry, Anthony Perry, McKayla Morrow, Tanner Morrow, Grayson Morrow, and Addison Morrow; six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 2 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Carl Swisher officiating.
