John Wayne Hurlow

John Wayne Hurlow, 73, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at home. He was born May 11, 1949, a son of the late Leeman Hurlow and Chloe (Robinson) Hurlow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. John attended Belle Chapel Church in Gallipolis, OH and was a retired Boilermaker with Local 667 of Winfield, WV. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Darlene Marie (Casey) Hurlow of Gallipolis Ferry; one daughter, Amanda Marie (Bryan) Weatherstein of New Haven, WV; one stepdaughter, Stephanie Ann (Jeremy) Boles of Point Pleasant; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Ogier, Gavin Marshall and Cyrus Boles; two brothers, James Hurlow of Mason, WV and Sam (Hope) Hurlow of Gallipolis, OH; a sister, Betty Rodgers of Gallipolis, OH. There will be no public services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
