John Howard

John Howard, 61, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Abbyshire Place in Gallipolis, OH. He was born September 17, 1959, in Cincinnati, OH, a son of the late Robert and Helen (Bailey) Howard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Howard and Timmy Howard; and in-laws, Ferrell V. and Belva I. Kiser. John served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a self employed carpenter. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Renee (Kiser) Howard; a daughter, Tiffany Brondhaver of Batavia, OH; three grandchildren, Kyler Robinson, Landric Brondhaver and Lanie Brondhaver all of Batavia; a brother, Robert Howard of Williamsburg, OH; sisters, Carol Howard and Peggy (Mike) Lewis all of Williamsburg; sister-in-law, Sheri Kiser of Columbus, OH; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Doug Hendrixson officiating.Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home. Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required.
