John Lasley David

John Lasley David, 56, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021, at home. He was born August 16, 1964, in New London, Connecticut, a son of the late John Bernard David and Elizabeth "Libby" (Lasley) David. John was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and University of New Hampshire, where he obtained a Masters Degree in Engineering.During John's working career he was employed with Babcock & Wilcox, as a chemical engineer. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, reading and skeet shooting.John loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Carrol and Stan Burdette of Point Pleasant; four nieces, Megan Bates of Point Pleasant, Lauren Bates of Point Pleasant, Haley Strangis and Marcello of Canonsburg, PA and Olivia Warner and Kyle of Amelia, OH; three great-nieces; and many close friends. Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
