Joann Watterson

JoAnn (Jarrell) Watterson, 77, of Henderson, passed away, Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant.She was born April 13, 1941, in Cannelton, WV, a daughter of the late Daniel Ray Jarrell and Martha Elizabeth (Lightner) Jarrell.JoAnn was a homemaker and member of Concord Baptist Church in Henderson and the Mason County Homemakers.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two half-sisters, Kathleen Cox and Thela Bailes; and one half-brother, Macon Dorsey.She is survived by her husband, Robert A. "Bob" Watterson whom she married September 10, 1965; several nieces and nephews; and two special kitties, Buttercup and Daisey.A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Bert Flora officiating. Burial will follow at the Watterson Family Cemetery in Apple Grove.
