Jessica Dawn "Jessi" Hall

Jessica "Jessi" Hall, 44, Southside, WV, went to be with her Lord on Christmas Eve. Jessi was a sunshine that anyone who met her will never forget. Jessi was an amazing mother to not only her own children but many other children that she loved like her own. Jessi would give the shirt off her back to anyone and would feed anyone who was hungry. Jessi loved animals more than she loved people and she never met a stranger. Jessi loved fiercely and always did the right thing because it was the right thing to do.

Jessi is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Oliver "Bud" Davis and Dollie Alberta Davis; stepfather, John Harper; mother and father-in-law, Emma Lou Hall and Lester Hall; child, Jacob Wayne Hall; grandchild, Squish Matheny; niece and nephew, Tinely and Kashton Davis; bonus father, Kippy Robinson; and uncle, Ronnie Whitt.

Jessi is survived by her loving husband, Lester Wayne Hall; children, Karria (Owen) Matheny and Ryan (Michelle) Hall; grandchildren, Xyla, Harley and Mykael Matheny, Victoria Hall and Levi Williams; parents, Mike (Judy) Davis and Alice Harper; sisters/sisters-in-law, Amanda (David) Casto, Stormy (Jake) Harper, Andrea (Dennis) Beller, Amanda (Brandon) Garrison and Lori (Butch) Mercer; brothers/brothers-in-law, Michael (Tara) Davis, Kelly Harper, Lester (Stacy) Hall and Billy Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly; many aunts and uncles that impacted her life; life-long friends Jessica Kearns and kids, Missy (Willie) Mayes, Edith Robinson and kids, Rachel Fetty and kids, Kendall Roush, Damian Ditchko and Judy Oliver and family. Jessi had many children that she took in and loved as her own. Jessi loved so many people.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you give blankets or a memorable keepsake in Jessi's honor.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Josh Searls officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Sunday at the funeral home.
