Jerry Allen Litchfield

Jerry Allen Litchfield, 64, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, in Huntington, WV.

He was born December 29, 1958, in Southside, WV, a son of the late Charles W. "Doc" Litchfield and Wilma Ardeth (Henry) Litchfield.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Linda Bright, Bonnie Litchfield and Ann Gillispie; and brothers, Randy, David "Skippy", Larry Kenneth and Bill Litchfield.

Jerry was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1977 and a retired carpenter from Carpenters Local 437 of Portsmouth, OH.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Laurie A. (Mercer) Litchfield of Gallipolis Ferry; children, Jimmy (Deborah) Litchfield of Ohio, Ryan Lee Litchfield of Gallipolis Ferry, Heather (Joey) Likens of Henderson, Shelly (James) Withrow of Deltona, FL, Julian A. (Catie) Hester of Deltona, FL, Nathan C. (Olivia) Hester of Henderson and Morgan A. Benitez of Gallipolis Ferry; twelve grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He is also survived by a brother, Charles Litchfield Jr. of Gallipolis Ferry; sisters, Frances Jeffers of Southside, Rose (Perry) Jeffers of Southside and Thelma Workman of Point Pleasant; and mother-in-law, Juanita L. Rainey of Gallipolis Ferry.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
