Janet Ann Selby

Janet Ann Selby, known as Nanny to many, passed away at her home Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Janet was a Class of '57 graduate from Point Pleasant High School and she was also a graduate from the Huntington School of Business. She was a 26 year member of the American Legion Women's Auxilliary. Janet retired from Citizens National Bank after 32 years of service, and was currently employed by the Point Pleasant Housing Authority. Mrs. Selby was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Milton Selby; and her parents, Wyatt and Marjorie Riffle. Janet is survived by her daughter, Abra Ohlinger; grandson, Philip Brahm Ohlinger; brother-in-law, Jack (Maribel) Selby; and special friends, Mike and Shawn Sergent, Nora Pearch, June Hicks, and Ann McCoy. The family will receive friends Friday, November 11, from 7:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. A private burial will be held at a later date.
