James Russell "Russ" Moore

James Russell "Russ" Moore III, 71, of Point Pleasant, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was born January 1, 1950, in Spencer, WV, a son of the late Dr. James Russell Moore Jr. and Joan (Sinnett) Moore. Russ was a member of the American Legion Post #23 of Point Pleasant. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1967 and enjoyed playing golf. Russ was a former manager of G & J Auto Parts and worked within the auto industry. He is survived by a son, Michael (Carolyn) Moore of Barboursville, WV; two brothers, Ken (Terri) Moore of Point Pleasant and Rick (Joanne) Moore of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Marilyn Moore of Scottsville, VA and Mendy Moore of Point Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
