James R. Collins

James R. Collins, 65, of Lakin, and former resident of Huntington, WV died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at the Lakin Hospital. James was a construction worker. He was born June 3, 1941 in Huntington, WV to the late Sherlin Collins and Garnett (Carney) Collins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lee Collins. Surviving are a son, James Collins, Jr. of Huntington; two sisters, Patricia Reardon and Judy Lane of Huntington, WV; and brothers, Jerry Collins and Bill Collins of Florida. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2007 in the Lakin Chapel with Rev. Richard DeQuasie officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakin Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Chapel.
