James Edward "Ed" Campion, 85, of Point Pleasant, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant. He was born September 7, 1935, in Elkins, WV, a son of the late Michael and Mary (Lazar) Pasco. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred M. (Wamsley) Campion; stepsons, Gary Lee Wamsley and John Wamsley; and Ora and Frances Campion who raised him. Ed was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant.He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mount Saint Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland and in 1959 graduated from West Virginia University with a Masters in Accounting. He is survived by a step-grandson and his family, Rock D. Wamsley, wife Kristen, daughter, Raegan and son Max of Saint Louis, MO. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Jeff Anderson officiating.Burial will be at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant.
