James Brady Leonard

James Brady Leonard, 18, of Point Pleasant, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016, from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born February 23, 1998, in Point Pleasant, a son of James David Leonard of Gallipolis and Amy Dawn (Heib) Brown of Point Pleasant. Brady was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 2016. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Charles M. and Julie Heib of Gallipolis Ferry; paternal grandparents, Artie "Susie" Rainey of Point Pleasant and Anthony (Karen) Jones of New Haven; maternal great-grandparents, Charles W. and Marjorie Heib of Point Pleasant; and paternal great-grandmother, Mary Dayonez McGowan of Point Pleasant; one sister, Kaylee Marie Dunn of Point Pleasant; two brothers, Clayton Leonard and Ethan Leonard of Gallipolis, OH; and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandmother, Rachel Elizabeth Sumner; and uncle, Anthony Levi Jones. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Richie Blain officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant The family will receive friends three hours prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.
