Jackie Lou Smith

Jackie Lou Smith, 70, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant. She was born September 2, 1948, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late George W. Smith and Joyce L. (Barnhart) Smith. Jackie was a member of First Baptist Church of South Charleston, WV, a Pleasant Valley Hospital Auxillary volunteer and former employee of Pleasant Valley Hospital and Lakin Hospital. She is survived by a sister, Pamela Miller of Jacksonville, FL; niece, Tamra Morgan of Ooltewah, TN; nephew, Todd Miller of Charlotte, NC; four great-nieces, Carlie, Macy, Rorie and Addyson; and two very special and dear friends, Sharon Gardner and Susan Garten. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Mel Mock officiating. A reception will follow at the First Church of God, 2401 Jefferson Avenue, Point Pleasant, WV.
