Henry L. "Jim" Mabry

Henry Lee "Jim" Mabry Jr., 68, of Culloden, WV, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born August 22, 1942 in Wilcoe, WV, a son of the late Henry Lee Mabry Sr. and Mary Lou (Humphrey) Mabry. Jim attended Mount Zion Baptist Church of Fraziers Bottom, WV, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He had worked for Dutch Miller Chevrolet in the parts department, and later retired with 28 years service from Goodyear/Shell Polymer Plant of Apple Grove. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Mabry and Edna Basham; and a brother, William Mabry. Jim is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Riddle) Mabry of Culloden; a son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Stacey Mabry of Culloden; two grandsons, Bryson and Brody Mabry of Culloden; three sisters, Audrey Adkins of Gary, WV, Mary Lou Rose of Bluefield, WV, and Janie Taylor of Bluefield, WV; a special brother-in-law, William "Bill" Riddle of Fraziers Bottom; and sister-in-law, Mary Mabry of Mooresville, NC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2011 in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, at Fraziers Bottom, with Pastor Charles "Chuck" Elkins officiating. Military graveside rites will be given by WV Honor Guard and American Legion Post No. 23 of Point Pleasant. Private family burial will be observed. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt.
