Helen "Susie" Harmon

Helen "Susie" Ruth Harmon, age 76, of Point Pleasant, went to her heavenly home on Friday, January 21, 2022. Susie was born March 27, 1945 in Leon, WV, the daughter of the late Frank Harmon and Joann (Cossin) Errett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert (Daddy Bob) Errett Sr.; a sister, Vikki (Errett) Lieving; brothers; Robert Errett Jr., Kevin Errett and Keith Errett; and a brother-in-law, Bruce McDonald. Susie was a 1963 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and retired with 30 plus years of service from Pleasant Valley Hospital. Susie enjoyed the simplest pleasures of life, whether spending time with family and friends with the occasional "Yestir", a hot cup of coffee, working puzzles or perched on her stool observing downtown Point Pleasant. She is survived by a sister, Dixie (Errett) McDonald of Gallipolis; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Errett of Waynesboro, VA and Kaylene Errett of Point Pleasant; brother-in-law, Raymond Lieving of Gallipolis; many nieces and nephews; special long time best friend, Patsy Shinn; and a host of friends at the Twin River Towers. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating.The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Wednesday at the funeral home.Burial will follow at the Leon Cemetery.Face coverings are required for everyone's safety.
