Hazel Virginia Neal

Hazel Virginia Neal, 85, of Henderson, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the home of her daughter. She was born December 11, 1935, in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter of the late Joseph McDaniel Likens and Leola Ann (Clonch) Likens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Neal; two sons, Joseph Ray Neal and Roger McDaniel Neal; three brothers, Owen Likens, Otho Likens and Orville Likens; and a sister, Lila Leport. Hazel is survived by a daughter, Fonda Rosa (Neal) White of Gallipolis Ferry; two sons, Robert William Neal Jr. and Anthony Ryan (Kelly) Neal both of Henderson; four grandchildren, Roger McDaniel (Raechel) Neal Jr. of Southside, Ryan Lee of Henderson, Kayla White (Steve) of Southside and Carl B. "Bo" Jr. (Corie) White of Southside; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Bobo, Lilly Sophia, Paizlee and Madelyn; great-great-grandson, Atlas; and her fury friend Hilery (cat). A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Bert Flora officiating.Burial will follow at the Wyoma Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry.Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
