Harry J. Hudnall, 80, of Leon, WV, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at his home. He was retired from Southern Ohio Coal Company with 33 years service, a member of United Mine Workers No. 1886, a U.S. Army veteran, had been a volunteer for the Point Pleasant EMS and Leon Fire Department, and was a member of Mt. Lewis Baptist Church in Mammoth, WV. Harry was born May 29, 1929 in Mammoth, WV to the late Harry Edward Hudnall and Hester E. (Pauley) Hudnall Guest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rozine L. (Kirtley) Hudnall; a son, Harry Leonard Hudnall; one sister, Rosalee Huddleston; and one brother, Earnest Hudnall. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Clifford Ramsey of Pond Gap, WV, Marcia and Miles Woodrum of Mammoth, WV, Jackie and Tex Corfee of Leon, Jo and Clarence Bess of Hurricane, WV, and Shirley N. Saltz of Warner Robins, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Hudnall and Becky Castle of Leon, and Kevin and Carolyn Hudnall of Point Pleasant; two sisters, Nancy Withrow of Handley, WV, and Lauretta Rucker of Pond Gap, WV; two brothers, Charles Guest of Virginia and Roger Guest of Ward, WV; 25 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2009 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Hayman officiating. Burial will follow in the Leon Cemetery, Leon, WV.
