Harriette Ann Finley

Harriette Ann Finley, 72, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, in Huntington, WV.

She was born August 11, 1950, in Red House, WV, a daughter of the late Harry N. and Martha A. (Roush) Rhodes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ozzie Finley Jr. and Jerry Lee Finley.

Harriette was a member of the Beech Hill United Methodist Church and the Beech Hill United Methodist Women.  She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1968.  During her working career, Harriette was employed at Pleasant Valley Hospital, as an operating room technician and later became an owner, operator truck driver.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ozzie N. Finley of Point Pleasant; a daughter and son-in-law, Allyson (Finley) and Christopher Ey of Bedford, VA; grandchildren, LilyAnn Finley of Ashton, WV and Wilson Perry Ey of Bedford, VA; and sisters and brother-in-law, Catherine L. Huffman of Cary, NC and Addie and Roger Hopson of Southside.

A memorial service will be held at Noon, Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the Beech Hill United Methodist Church in Southside, WV, with Rev. Ronnie Tote officiating.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Beech Hill Cemetery.   Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
