Harold L. Keefer

Harold L. Keefer, 88, of Point Pleasant, WV, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Holzer Senior Care Center in Bidwell, OH. He was born June 9, 1926, in Leon, WV, a son of the late Henry Milroy Keefer and Martha Jane (Casto) Keefer. Harold was retired from Pantasote Chemical Plant in Point Pleasant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a wife, Ruth (Bowles) Keefer; a sister, Amanda Stover; and seven brothers, Floyd, Everett, Earnest, Okey, James, Raymond and Earl Keefer. He is survived by his wife, Lucille (Burris) Keefer of Point Pleasant; a son, Laris Keefer; one brother, Henry (Evelyn) Keefer of Point Pleasant; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Sampy Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. Visitation will be two hours prior to service Saturday at the funeral home.
