Grace Delores Glenn

Grace Delores Glenn, 92, of Southside, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022, at home. She was born February 15, 1930, in Southside, a daughter of the late Ara A. Woyan and Katie Marie (Engel) Woyan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Glenn; a son, Denny Glenn; sisters, Dolly Miihlbach, Carol Supple and Arlene Love; and brothers, Herbert Woyan, Wendell Woyan, Paul D. Woyan, Harold W. Woyan and Darrell G. Woyan. Delores was a member of the Beech Hill United Methodist Church where she served as teacher in various classes ending with the Adult Class for 15 years.She was also a member of the United Methodist Women where she held various offices.Delores was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1948. She is survived by her daughter, Dianna Glenn of Henderson; a sister, Zertha Knapp of Southside; grandchildren, Michael Glenn, Shane Glenn, Kristian Matheny and Steffani (Luke) Patterson; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Matheny, Blake Matheny, Asher Clarence Glenn; Chloe Sellers, Isabella Sellers, Liam Sellers and Luke Patterson. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022, at the Beech Hill United Methodist Church, with Pastor Janice Odom officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Friday, at the church.
