Gloria Kay Palmer

Gloria Kay (Withers) Palmer, 64, of Grove City, Ohio, died Tuesday December 9, 2008 at Mount Carmel West Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was retired from the Department of Defense in Columbus, OH and upon retiring she became her mother's personal caregiver. Gloria was born March 10, 1944 in Gallipolis Ferry, WV to Dorothy Lillian (Baird) Withers and the late Lewis Eugene Withers. Surviving in addition to her mother is her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and George Nelson of Mt. Juliet, TN; one brother, David Withers of Grove City, OH; one niece Michelle Oates (Peyton) of Clarksville, TN and one nephew, George Nelson Jr. of Mt. Juliet, TN. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Beale Chapel United Methodist Church in Apple Grove with Pastor Carl Swisher officiating.
