Gilbert Francis Rogers Iii

Gilbert Francis Rogers III, 63, of Gallipolis Ferry, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.

He was born February 8, 1962, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Gilbert Francis Rogers II and Shirley Ann (Altizer) Rogers.

Gilbert was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1980, a Christian and a United States Marine Veteran. He previously worked for Luxoticca in Columbus, OH as a Maintenance Engineer.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Ann Rogers of Gallipolis Ferry; and a brother, Paul Stephen (Lori) Rogers of Batavia, OH.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Rogers Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry, with Rev. Larry Gray officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
