Gerald Vaughan Pearson

Gerald Vaughan Pearson, 80 of Point Pleasant, WV died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant. Gerald was a farmer and attended the Pentecostal Church. He was born July 13, 1927 in Gallipolis Ferry, WV to the late Beerman Pearson and Lilly Mae (Roberts) Pearson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Teddy Pearson; sisters, Bessie Supple, Gladys Clonch, Minnie Walker, Catherine Long, and Doris Leonard; brothers, Mack Pearson, Gilbert Pearson, Clark Pearson and Worthy Pearson. Surviving is his wife, Bonnie J. (Wamsley) Pearson of Point Pleasant; children, Steven and Carolyn Pearson of Gallipolis Ferry, Kathy and Joe Milanese of Gallipolis Ferry, Randy Pearson of Lumberton, NC, Lana and Ed Manawall of Lumberton, NC, Pam and Jay Powers of Virginia Beach, VA, Lisa and Barry Davis of Wilmington, NC, Lois Pearson of Charleston, WV and Phill Pearson of Huntington, WV; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Isaiah Crump officiating. Burial will follow in the Austin-Hope-McLeod Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 6-8 p.m.
