Georgiann June Robbins, 57, of Point Pleasant died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the Pleasant Valley Hospital. Georgiann was a homemaker, had been a babysitter through the West Virginia Department of Human Services, and was a former dispatcher with Pickens Cab Company of Point Pleasant. She was born August 9, 1949 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Genevieve Mary (Robbins) Higgins and Whitey Robinson. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her grandparents whom raised her, Van B. Robbins, Sr. and Georgia Robbins; a sister, Betty Neville; and brothers, Billy Robbins and Delano Robbins. Surviving are her daughter, Tonya Lewis of Anchorage, Alaska; a grandson, Anthony Scott Christian of Grafton, WV; a granddaughter, Candice Rae Lewis of Anchorage; sisters, Mary (Harold) Stover of Gallipolis, Ohio; Katheryn Meadows of Gallipolis; Shelia Heib of Point Pleasant; Marceline Schultz of Point Pleasant; and Betty M. Moore of Springfield, Ohio; brothers; Robert "Bobby" Jones of Gallipolis, Ohio, Edward Tom (Teresa) Jones of South Point, Ohio; Darwin Robbins of Gallipolis; Van B. Robbins, Jr. of Jackson, Ohio; and Earl Robbins of Springfield, Ohio; special friends, Cathy Adkins, Diane Davis, and Susan; and caretaker, Candy Pickens; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Swisher officiating.
