George James Robinson

George James Robinson, 78,  of Henderson,  passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at Rivers Health in Point Pleasant.

He was born February 22, 1946, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late James Everett Robinson and Missouri Catherine (Conkle) Robinson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Clara Robinson, Helen Robinson and Agusta Leport; and brothers, Charles and Harold Robinson.

George was retired from Yauger Farm Supply with 40 years of service.  In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and horses.

He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, John and Patricia Robinson of Henderson; a sister, Virginia Whitt of Lesage, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Roger McCallister officiating.  Burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant.  Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
