George Edgar Miller

George Edgar Miller, 83, of Point Pleasant, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

He was born 1939, in Point Pleasant, a son of Howard E. and Kathryn (Durst) Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shela Miller; and grandson, Joseph Miller.

George is survived by sons, Mark (Sherri) Miller of Point Pleasant and Jeff (Marnie) Miller of Pataskala, Ohio; and a daughter, Jodi (Josh) Monroe of Jersey City, N.J. George is a proud grandfather to Tyler (Sarah), Katelyn and Lauren Miller, as well as a great-grandfather to Carolina and Judah Miller. George is also survived by brothers, Howard Lee and Dale Miller and their families of Point Pleasant.

George is a member of the Henderson Church of Christ.  A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday February 18, 2023, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Minister Bill Deem officiating. Private family burial will be at the Rogers Cemetery in Henderson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service Saturday at the funeral home.
