George Martin Love

George Martin Love, 65, of Point Pleasant died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at home. He was born July 6, 1942 in Henderson, WV to the late George Love Jr. and Vivian G. (Martin) Love Wells. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, George Martin Love III; and a sister, Judith Killingsworth. George was a retired deckhand with Kanawha River Towing and had attended the Concord Baptist Church in Henderson. Surviving are his daughter, Crystal Love of Point Pleasant; two sons, James Martin Love of Barboursville, WV and Chans Love of Mooresville, NC; a stepdaughter, Lesley Simpkins of Point Pleasant; two stepsons, Randy Neal of Southpoint, OH and Keith Neal of Troutman, NC; and two sisters, Marsha Huddleston of Henderson and Jackie Love of Gallipolis Ferry; and five grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at the Concord Cemetery in Henderson.
