Geneva S. "Dolly" Stanley

Geneva S. "Dolly" Stanley, 83, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant.She was born March 25, 1935, in Apple Grove, a daughter of the late Henry H. Plantz and Anna S. (Denny) Plantz. Dolly attended Wyoma Pentecostal Church and Mount Carmel Church in Gallipolis Ferry.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland L. Stanley; a sister, Geraldine Bowen; and brothers, Harry P. Plantz, Ivan Plantz and Arthur Plantz.She is survived by one brother, Henry Harold Plantz of Point Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Roger Bonecutter officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry.
