Geneva M. Gardner

Geneva M. Gardner, 71, of Point Pleasant, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.

She was born April 28, 1953, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late James Roy Hurlow and Edith Marie Hurlow.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Mark Tony Gardner and an infant Kevin Gardner; brother, James R. Hurlow Jr. and a grandson, Mykael Gardner.

Geneva was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by a son, David Aaron Gardner of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Bentley, Drake, Noah, and Markeya Gardner; sisters, Carol S. (Kenneth) White of Point Pleasant and Judy K. (Stephen) Johnson of Point Pleasant; a brother, Charles M. (Rose) Hurlow of Point Pleasant; special friend, Michelle Buckley of Pomeroy, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Craig Holler officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Letart.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Monday at the funeral home.
