Freda P. Miller

Freda (Morrison) Miller, 94, of Crown City, Ohio died Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Scenic Hills Nursing Center in Bidwell, Ohio. Freda was a life long resident of Point Pleasant, a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church at Flatrock, WV and was a homemaker. She was born August 6, 1913 in Point Pleasant to the late Frank and Lucy Morrison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Capt. Stephen L. Miller; three brothers, Ercell F. Morrison, James P. Morrison, and Warren H. Morrison; seven sisters, Orva Blaine, Gladys Smith, Audrey Blaine, Leota Taylor, Opal N. White, Allegra Messick, and an infant sister. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria and Donald Ours of Crown City, Ohio; and Dolores "Dee" and Paul Denning of Naples, Florida. Private burial will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in the Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant with Rev. Matthew Dotson officiating. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. There will be no visitation.
