Forrest Wayne Stephens

Forrest Wayne Stephens, 57, of Leon, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at home. He was born May 10, 1959, in Point Pleasant, a son of Forrest Homer Stephens and Mary (Turley) Stephens of Leon. Wayne was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1977 and a former employee of BNM Tires in Point Pleasant. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Geraldine Caroline (Rice) Stephens of Leon; one son, Charles Dylan Stephens of Louisville, KY; a daughter, Margaret Mary Ann "Maggie" Stephens of Morgantown; one sister, Ruth Stephens of Leon; one niece and one nephew. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Harvey Chapel Church in Leon, with Pastor Sampy Hart officiating.
