Faye M. (Duncan) Fisher, 93, of Gallipolis Ferry, went to sleep at Pleasant Valley Hospital Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and woke up in Heaven on Thursday, August 16, 2018.Faye was born October 10, 1924, in Apple Grove, WV, a daughter of the late Walter and Electa Duncan. She grew up on Seven Mile Ridge in Apple Grove.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. Dallas Fisher; brothers, Russell Duncan, Basil Duncan, Billy Flory, Willard Flora, and Les Fooce; sisters, Opal Stover, Clara Brown, and Elva Gardner; infant twin sons; granddaughter, Kourtney Fisher; great-grandson, Baby Reece; and son-in-law, Larry E. (Gene) Harper.She is survived by her daughter and son, Kay Harper and Eddie Fisher both of Gallipolis Ferry; grandchildren, Kelly (Scott) Ferguson; Kevin (Vanessa) Harper; Kimberly (John) Ambrose; great-grandchildren, Marlee and Ally Harper, Braden Miller, Dana Roberts, and Jack and Isaac Ambrose. She is also survived by special niece Judy (Rick) Northup and nephew, Tony (Kristi) Stover and their families. Faye had a special home caregiver, Patricia Hodges; many special ladies from Pleasant Valley Hospital Home Health Services who helped take good care of her. Also, thank you to Dr. Ayers and Pleasant Valley Hospital Nursing and Rehabilitation Center staff for the kindness you have shown and care that was provided.A funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with grandson, Kevin Harper and nephew Pastor Tony Stover officiating. Burial will follow at Beale Cemetery in Apple Grove. Friends may visit the funeral home Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Sunday.Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Harper, Scott Ferguson, Kirby Hill, Steven Powell, Brent Fellure and Colby Fellure.
