Eva Sinta (Marrero) Wallace

Eva Sinta (Marrero) Wallace, 87, of Point Pleasant, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at Holzer Senior Care in Bidwell, OH. Eva was born September 7, 1924 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a daughter of the late Fermin Marrero and Emilia (Arroyo) Marrero. She was a homemaker and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Point Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Duane Wallace; son, William Howard Wallace; four sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Rose Wallace of Point Pleasant and Virginia Wallace of Bellaire, Ohio; nephews, Jimmy Mansolo and Nester Mansolo of Gainesville, Florida, Duane Wallace of Orlando, Florida, and Ken Wallace of Annapolis, Maryland; nieces, Jennifer "GiGi" Mansolo of Gainesville, Florida, Barbara Williams of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Debra Wallace of Point Pleasant. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant with Father Joshua Stephens officiating. Burial will follow.
