Eva Lou Plumley

Eva Lou Plumley, 75, of Glenwood, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

She was born March 25, 1948, in Apple Grove, a daughter of the late Charles Ottho Meadows and Maude Emily (Stover) Shafer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Plumley; grandsons, Gary Edward Plumley and Joshua Dean Plumley; a brother, Roy Wayne Meadows; son-in-law, Greg Mays; sisters-in-law, Connie Sue Meadows, Phyllis Kinniard and Bonnie Kinniard; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Nibert.

Eva was a Christian and a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Regina Lee (Roger) Waugh of Glenwood, Bernard (Sharon) Plumley of Ashton, Mona Lisa Slayton of Huntington, Terry Mae (Ricky) Watson of Salt Rock, WV and Melissa Dawn Stephens of Beckley, WV; sister, Connie Lee Nibert of Apple Grove; brothers, Charles Ottho (Lucy) Meadows of Glenwood, Richard Eugene Meadows of Glenwood, Ronald Edward Kinniard of Southside and Melvin Lewis Kinniard of Glenwood; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Charlie Langdon officiating.  Burial will follow at Potts Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
