Esther Lenoria Rainey

Esther Lenoria Rainey, 92, of Gallipolis Ferry, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Holzer Senior Care in Bidwell, OH. She was born February 7, 1922, in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter of the late Sherman Long and Vivian Lynn (Moss) Long. Esther was a member of Jordan Baptist Church in Gallipolis Ferry and a personal caretaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Imogene Henry, Sybil Freeman and infant sister Doris Long; and two brothers, Douglas Long and Phillip E. Long. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Dee Keith officiating.
