Ernie Lee Mayhorn

Ernie Lee Mayhorn, 53, of Gallipolis, OH, affectionately referred to as "Bubby" by his family who loved him dearly, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018, at home. He was born October 16, 1965, in Logan, WV, a son of the late Ernie Mayhorn and Juanita (Kirk) Bryant. Ernie was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Yvonne (Thomson) Mayhorn. He was a member of Elizabeth Chapel Church in Gallipolis, OH. Ernie is survived by three sisters, Bertha (Charles) Ward of Henderson, Rita (James) Bryant of Harts, WV and Sharon (Olus) Sturgell of Laurel, IN; nephews, Charlie Ward, Bill Isaacs and Virgil Hudson; nieces, Tammy Smith, Jennifer Murray and Johanna Hudson; and several great nieces and great nephews. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Randy Carnes officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor-Ward Family Cemetery in Henderson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Wednesday at the funeral home.
