Eric Nathan Mccallister

Eric Nathan McCallister, 48, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at home. He was born March 1, 1973, in Point Pleasant, a son of Michael W. McCallister and Ledvada J. (Simpkins) McCallister of Gallipolis Ferry. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Harold and Marjorie Stover; and maternal grandparents, Chester and Betty Simpkins. Eric was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1991 and a former deckhand for Campbell Towing. In addition to his parents Michael and Ledvada, he is survived by a son, Aaron Tyler (Saint) McCallister of Gallipolis Ferry; sister, Melanie Potts of Point Pleasant; and nephews, Cole and Caiden Potts of Point Pleasant. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Minister Cathy Searls officiating.Burial will follow at the Apple Grove Memorial Gardens in Apple Grove.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Friday at the funeral home.
