Emogene Smith, 89, of Point Pleasant, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at home. She was born August 15, 1922, in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter of the late Ivan Seymour Pullin and Golda (Ball) Pullin. Emogene was a homemaker, and member of the Henderson Tabernacle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Smith. She is survived by a daughter, Dreama Smith of Point Pleasant; one son, Roy Carter (Rosalie) Smith of Gallipolis Ferry; one sister, Doris Henry of Point Pleasant; one brother, Rev. Ivan (Wilma) Pullin Jr. of Nelsonville, OH; two grandsons, Kevin (Dalena) Smith of Point Pleasant and Tony (Missy) Smith of Gallipolis Ferry; three great grandchildren, Sabreanna Smith, Alexis Smith, and Ethan Smith; special friends, Amanda Young and Nancy Fields; and several nieces, nephews, and church family. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Sonny Mayes officiating.
