Emma Anna Fisher, 85, of Gallipolis Ferry, went to be with her Lord Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Pleasant Valley Hospital, in Point Pleasant. She was born June 26, 1931, in Gallipolis Ferry, a daughter of the late Asa Utley Henry and Mary Evelyn (Putney) Henry. Anna was a member of Faith Gospel Church in Gallipolis Ferry and a retired cook for American Electric Power River Division. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly A. Lilly; granddaughter, Kelly Ann Lilly; son-in-law, David Ebert; stepsons, Gary Spurlock, Gary Fisher, Bobby Joe Fisher, Ronald Fisher and Donald Fisher; and one sister, Mahala Jones. She is survived by one daughter, Judy Ebert of Gallipolis Ferry; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Sandra Kay Fisher of Gallipolis Ferry; stepson, Roger Fisher (Sally) of Hillsboro, OH; son-in-law, Johnny Lilly Sr.; and sisters, Margaret M. Yester of Gallipolis Ferry, Geraldine Adams of Gallipolis Ferry, Helen "Virginia" Long of Gallipolis Ferry, Yvonne Short of Glouster, OH and Maxine Johnson of MN. She is also survived by grandchildren, Joe and Jodie Shinn, John Lilly Jr. and Mindi, April Shinn Taylor, Brad and Jill Lilly, Ruthie and Paul Sheets, and Andrew and Kim Fisher; great grandchildren, Nicholas Taylor, Jonathan Lilly, Breanna, Brandin and Jarred Shinn, Khloie and Kylie Billings, Kabella Fisher, Kennedy and Keaton Fisher, Hunter and Jake Lilly; and special friend, Karen Cogar of Gallipolis Ferry. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Josh Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Apple Grove Memorial Gardens in Apple Grove. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
