Edward Leslie Kincaid

Edward Leslie Kincaid, 81, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at home.

He was born May 5, 1943, in Mason City, WV, a son of the late Wayne Earl Kincaid Sr. and Margaret Alice (Dickens) Kincaid.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Sue Smith and Nora "Janie" Nibert; and three brothers, Wayne Earl Kincaid Jr., Patrick Lee Kincaid and Michael Eugene Kincaid.

Edward was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1960 and a member of the Sandhill Road Church of Christ. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy and Air Force Reserve and was a Vietnam Veteran. Edward was a retired mail carrier with 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Sue (Plants) Kincaid of Point Pleasant; two sons, Mark Edward (Emma) Kincaid of West Columbia, WV and Joseph Earl (Janet) Kincaid of Point Pleasant; and five grandchildren, Mark Edward Kincaid II, Matthew William Kincaid, Andrew Wayne Kincaid, Ethan Joseph Kincaid and Lauren Grace Kincaid.

In honoring Edward's wishes, there will be no public services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
