Edna Bernadine Edmonds, 82, of Glenwood, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was born September 7, 1935, in Ashton, WV, a daughter of the late Amon L. Wray and Edna Irene (Long) Wray. In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Alvin Edmonds; three sisters, Alma Wray, Bernice Flory and Rosella Springer. Edna is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Joyce Edmonds of Glenwood, Michael and Jane Edmonds of Fraziers Bottom and Jerry and Patty Edmonds of Apple Grove; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Bonnie Denney of Bladensburg, OH; two brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth Wray of Point Pleasant and Charles and Wanda Wray of Gallipolis Ferry; and a special sister-in-law, Marie Barker of Glenwood. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Ronald Long officiating. Burial will follow at Pete Meadows Cemetery in Glenwood. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
